I went and saw Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist tonight. I'm starting to love this little city of mine. It was great to recognize the neighborhoods throughout the film. Michael Cera is always entertaining to me. I've always thought he has played his role ( so far, he has only played one role in my opinion) perfectly. This was the first movie that I wanted him to like me back.
This movie has a particular scene that had me curled up in a ball, with my eyes and ears covered. I'm very sensitive to the sound of people throwing up. There were a couple conversations in the film that I have actually had myself, so that brought back some fond memories. If you have the chance, you should give it a try.

I could not handle the throwing up scene. I had to cover my ears and look away. And yet I found myself peeking. Kind of like the state fair. Throwing up is just funny sometimes.
I'm curious which conversations you've had.
We saw that movie tonight too! I don't think I'll ever think Michael Cera is hot, but I totally agree with you on the this is the first movie I have wanted him to like me back thing. He was a complete nerd on Arrested, really awkward in Juno, but a little charming in Nick and Nora.
P.S. I wish I wouldn't have been eating popcorn during the scene in the bathroom with the gum and the phone. Ew.
yeah, by the end of the movie he had sort of a cool swagger (so much so that he could insult her dad and she just laughs and then makes out with him).
special mention should be made for the girl when she talks to the turkey sandwich.
I think Cera is running out of time. He's going to have to do something different pretty soon or people are going to get sick of him (if they aren't already).
I think he ought to keep doing characters like that. He is awesome and obviously has that role nailed.
That line that the promos show with the guy thinking their car was a taxi was hilarious. "This is not a cab my friend I promise." Keep it up man.
SO JEALOUS!!! I've been dying to see this ever since we saw the preview before The Women. I tried to see it Friday but missed the movie time so I saw Nights in Rodanthe (not worth the money.)
Sad, if I wouldn't have gone to Chicago I would have seen it with you. :(
